(2) Installation and calibration of large rotating scraper

The rotating scraper is used to support the rotating scraper. After the large rotating scraper is installed, it is relatively stable and suitable for scraping large-scale sand mold. As shown in the figure on the right, the rotating scraper frame can be installed in the pit. If four holes are machined on the base, it can be installed on the platform. Generally speaking, the large-scale rotating scraper frame is temporarily fixed and can be lifted away after use; there are also fixed bases and vertical shafts at appropriate positions in the workshop for a long time. If it is used frequently, it is better to fix the rotating scraper frame for a long time, which can save the installation and calibration time.

The installation and correction method of large-scale rotating scraper frame is: dig a pit at a proper position in the workshop, put the base in the pit, use a horizontal ruler to correct the level of the base, insert the vertical shaft into the conical hole of the base, and verify the verticality of the vertical shaft, and use molding sand to compact around the base. Put the positioning fastening ring on the vertical shaft, fix the fastening ring on the required height with the fastening screw, and put on the rotating arm so that the rotating arm can rotate 3600 around the vertical shaft. Install the rotating scraper on the rotating arm, do not tighten the rotating scraper clamping screw too tightly, use a wooden ruler or a template to adjust the rotating scraper to the required radial size position, use a horizontal ruler to correct the rotating scraper, make it perpendicular to the vertical axis, so as to ensure the accurate size of the sand mold. Tighten the rotating scraper clamping bolt to prevent the rotating scraper from loosening during the scraping process.
