Measure chain elongation

1. In order to remove the clearance of the whole chain, measure under a certain degree of pulling tension on the chain;

2. During measurement, in order to reduce the error as much as possible, measure at the place of section 6-10 (link);

3. Measure the size of inner L1 and outer L2 between the rollers with the number of sections, so as to get the judgment size L = (L1 + L2) / 2;

4. Calculate the elongation length of the chain, which is in contrast with the limit value of the chain elongation in the preceding item:

Elongation of chain = judgment dimension - reference length / reference length * 100%

Reference length = chain pitch * number of knots

Chain scrapping judgment

1. The allowable wear value of the chain shall not exceed 10% of the rod diameter of the ring chain or the thickness of the accessories;

2. From the plane where the main ring is not bent, the main ring shall be scrapped if it is twisted more than 10 degrees;

3. It is forbidden to use when any part of the chain has cracks, bends or twists, and there is jamming or rigid and astringent resistance between the ring hinges, which cannot be eliminated;

4. The long-term elongation of chain and single ring shall not exceed 5% of the original length
