Lifting chain is an essential and important device for the crane. It can adjust the length of chain according to the lifting height of the crane, which plays an important role in improving the efficiency of crane operation and expanding the scope of crane operation.

Visual inspection of chain

1. Whether the inner / outer chain piece is deformed, cracked or embroidered;

2. Whether the pin is deformed, rotated or corroded;

3. Whether the roller is cracked, damaged or excessively worn;

4. Whether the joint is loose or deformed;

5. Whether there is abnormal sound or abnormal vibration during operation, and whether the chain lubrication is in good condition.

Chain length accuracy measurement method

1. The chain is cleaned before measurement;

2. Enclose the tested chain on two sprocket wheels, and the upper and lower sides of the tested chain shall be supported;

3. The chain before measurement shall stay for 1min under the condition of applying one third of the load and small ultimate tensile load;

4. During the measurement, the specified measurement load shall be applied on the chain to make the upper and lower sides of the chain tensioned. The chain on the sprocket wheel shall ensure the normal toothing;

5. Measure the center distance between two sprocket wheels.
