Installation requirements

1. The bucket elevator must be firmly installed on a solid concrete foundation. The surface of concrete foundation shall be flat and horizontal to ensure that the bucket elevator can meet the vertical requirements after installation.

The bucket elevator with higher height shall be connected with the adjacent buildings (such as silo, workshop, etc.) in the proper position of the middle casing and upper casing to increase its stability. During installation, install the lower part first, fix the anchor bolt, then install the middle casing, and then install the upper casing. The casing is installed successfully, and the verticality is corrected. Lead straight line measurement shall be used for the whole height up and down, and the error shall be less than 10 mm. The upper and lower axes shall be parallel, and their axis lines shall be in the same plane.

When the bucket elevator with lower height is installed, the upper, middle and lower casings can be connected and fixed on the concrete foundation in the ground plane.

2. After the casing is installed, install the chain and hopper. The u-screw for hopper link is not only the chain joint, but also the fastener of hopper. The nut of u-screw must be tightened and reliably prevented from loosening.

3. After the chain and hopper are installed, properly tension them.

4. Add proper amount of oil and grease to the reducer and bearing pedestal respectively. The reducer is lubricated with industrial gear oil. Calcium base or sodium base grease can be used in the bearing seat.

5. The test run shall be carried out after the installation. Attention shall be paid to idling: it is not allowed to reverse or bump. The idle running shall not be less than 2 hours, and there shall be no overheating. The temperature rise of bearing shall not exceed 250C, and that of reducer shall not exceed 300C. After idling for 2 hours, load test can be carried out when everything is normal. During the loaded test run, the feeding shall be uniform to prevent excessive feeding, blocking the lower part and causing the "blocking".
