The structural feature of the flat link is that when a certain part of a tooth yields, the load will be redistributed on each tooth, so that the yield part will not expand rapidly and lead to damage, which to a certain extent extends the service life of the link.
But this kind of structure also increases the difficulty of mechanical analysis. When the finite element analysis is applied, the contact nonlinearity of the structure should be considered, which leads to the convergence problem in the calculation process. Therefore, the optimal parameters should be recorded in the calculation process to meet the convergence of the problem.
